The Experience

Recapture the romance and atmosphere of a bygone era as you step aboard the reconditioned wood-panelled coaches and enjoy fine cuisine in five-star luxury. This adventure begins with the train's departure from Rovos Rail's station in Victoria Falls. The train passes through Hwange National Park where animals can be spotted from the train. The train travels south crossing the Zimbabwe border at Plumtree Witwatersand and continues via Francistown and Mahalapye before crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. You then travel through Botswana's capital, Gaborone and continue south travelling east along the Magaliesberg Mountains in the final day, before entering the Rovos Rail train station in Pretoria.
